About

Moving steadily closer to where experiences happen

Portrait of Fiamma Degl'Innocenti

I'm a trained service designer with more than twelve years of experience innovating existing services and designing new ones for international brands and organisations.

That work taught me how to understand people and orchestrate complex systems to meet their needs. What moved me most was the impact I could see with my own eyes: an immersive experience that helped sick children forget they were in hospital, a new passenger journey that eased travel stress at Lisbon Airport, and citizens completely transforming public spaces in Milan in 24 hours.

Today I focus on what I love most: crafting experiences in physical spaces, bringing people together and designing the moments they remember. I work as an experiential strategist and creative director for places, exhibitions, gatherings and events, bringing a service designer's craft to experiences that are meant to be felt.

I bring three sides to every project. The rigour to understand people's needs and identities, from years of behavioural research. The heart to craft intentional experiences, from years of designing and facilitating workshops for organisations including UNICEF, Disney and Philips. And the eye to make things beautiful, from years of developing my own artistic practice and creative identity.
