No Signal: three days to recharge, connect and celebrate
The idea
No Signal is a private retreat in the Tuscan countryside for people who want to switch off, connect to themselves and each other, and celebrate the gift of being alive.
The experience
The experience concept was designed with the three themes (recharge, connect, celebrate) at the centre of every touchpoint.
- A welcome kit and arrival ritual that invites each guest to set an intention, and anchor it in a spot of the venue that carries meaning to them.
- Wearable signals that let guests share, without saying a word, how to interact with the space and other people based on their mood.
- A secret game that runs through the three days and keeps guests curious about each other until the very end.
- Shared kitchen duties where people who've just met are paired to create something together, and invited to discuss thought-provoking topics based on given prompts.
- A sunset soundscape crafted with intention that gently leads people into an ecstatic dance. A musical journey from light to darkness that explores relaxation, activation, tension and release.
- Gratitude cards that let every guest know the difference they made to someone else's time at the retreat.
My role
- Defined three themes: recharge, connect, celebrate.
- Defined the culture backbone: the values and principles people adhere to when they join the space.
- Designed the full concept, from the journey before, during and after the retreat to the touchpoints, activities, artefacts and spaces, each built on the three themes.
Status
The concept is fully developed and was tested in a private prototype held in May 2026, shown in the photos on this page. The first official No Signal retreat will be open to the public.
